On July 4, to mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, the U.S. flag will be raised on the Vilnius TV Tower.
The flag is impressively large, with an area of 540 square meters and a weight of 70 kilograms. Two records will be officially registered: the largest flag of a foreign nation ever raised in Lithuania and in the city of Vilnius.
