The Sunrise Meditation is an invitation to welcome the dark autumn season with inner light. Many of us aren’t too fond of November’s drizzle and short, dim days. The melancholy chill makes us wait—for the holidays, or for spring, which still feels far away. But instead of waiting, we can learn to embrace this time, to find beauty in its subtler moods of nature, and to prepare our inner world not for waiting, but for being present—right here, right now.
This mindful practice is for anyone who finds the darker months challenging. Statistics show that 4 out of 5 people feel the lack of light, and 1 in 5 experiences it especially deeply. We can’t make the sun shine more, but we can learn to cultivate a brighter state of mind through this season. Let’s greet the sunrise together—high above the city, in a moment to remember.
The meditation will be guided by psychologist Paulius Rakštikas from Pauzė.
Please note: the session will be conducted in Lithuanian.
